The board, staff and event co-chairs for the 2009 5th Bridge Feed My Starving Children meal-packing challenge sincerely thank the donors who made the event possible and everyone from the Northfield community who came down to the Armory to help make this year’s event a huge success.
Over the course of three days, 1,400 volunteers helped to:
- Package 306,000 meals (exceeding the original goal of 250,000)
- Raise more than $55,000
- Ultimately feed 838 children around the globe for one year
It takes many hearts and hands to make such an event successful and we are grateful to all who participated. We hope to see you again for an encore event next year.
