World Link, Inc. is a non-profit placement agency that administers U.S. Department of State merit scholarship programs which bring high school age students to America from Russia, the countries of the former Soviet Union, Afghanistan and the Balkans. We are looking for host families in Northfield for the 2009-2010 academic year.

These merit scholars must do at least 30 hours of volunteer service during their stay in the U.S., and give presentations on their home countries, as well as join a leadership organization at the high school in order to develop their personal skills and confidence. Families and students are supported throughout the year by a local coordinator.
