The attached card was sent to 5th Bridge and shows the remarkable volunteer efforts that have been a part of the educational experience for St. Dominic’s 7th and 8th grade class this year. Research has shown that students who actively participate in volunteer activities at an early age more readily learn and exhibit the lifetime skills of collaboration and integrative thinking. The young volunteers of today truly will become the leaders of tomorrow.
