Rice County Habitat for Humanity (an affordable housing program) is in need of volunteers in the following areas:

Board Secretary – we have monthly board meetings on the 1st Thursday of each month at Trinity Lutheran Church in Northfield at 7 p.m. We are looking for a person who is detail oriented and competent with the computer.

Public Relations Committee – We are growing our Public Relations committee and could some people who can help spread the Habitat for Humanity story in Rice County.

Volunteer Committee – We are looking for some volunteers to manage all of our volunteers! We need people who are outgoing (to recruit new volunteers), detail minded (to keep track of all of our volunteers), and organized (to schedule volunteers at our 3 sites in 2009).

Historian – We’d love for somebody to help us document all of our builds.
